With her curly red hair and feisty demeanor, Daley is a well-known sophomore at the Hartwell School. However, she's not always well liked. Recently elected class president, Daley is one of the school's best students — and she knows it. A fierce competitor and always resourceful, Daley excels at nearly everything she sets her mind to — from school to sports to raising money for a ticket to the Micronesia EcoAdventure Tour. An only child, Daley learned how to take care of herself after her mom died. Her younger (step) brother, Lex, is also coming on the trip (Daley's dad recently married Lex's mom). Though they bicker like any brother and sister, Daley is incredibly loyal to Lex, just as she's staunchly loyal to her friends.
