Since age 6 Sara Paxton has worked with some of Hollywood’s leading actors, including Debbie Reynolds, Jim Carrey, Leah Thompson and Sherilynn Fenn, in 11 feature films, among them Sleepover, Liar Liar, Soldier, Haunted Lighthouse and Starship Troopers. Her television credits include guest-starring roles on the blockbuster teen hit Lizzie McGuire, Malcolm in the Middle, WIll & Grace, Summerland, Frasier, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami and State of Grace. She has also completed pilots, including Nickelodeon’s Amber, Amber with Cindy Williams and Julia Duffy. For the WB, she was cast as "Paige" in Generation Gap, playing the granddaughter of legendary screen actress Debbie Reynolds. Most recently, Paxton starred with Sherilyn Fenn and Sherman Helmsley in the pilot for the Mr. Ed remake.

Shannon Collis has appeared in several television series, including Fox’s Oliver Beene and the WB’s The O’Keefes and L.A. Confidential. She has also co-starred in Nickelodeon’s "Movie of the Week" Maniac Magee and Fox’s "Movie of the Week" Brady Bunch: The Final Days. In addition, she was featured in the 2001 film Without Charlie and has had starring roles in theatrical productions at the El Segundo Repertory Playhouse in California. When she’s not acting, Shannon enjoys ice skating, swimming, bicycling, ballet, tap, singing and computers.

Kerry Saxena: "Eli"
From an early age it was obvious that Kerry was a true comedian with a gift for impressions. By the time he was 10 years old, Kerry could imitate all kinds of characters, from "The Grinch" to "Austin Powers." Kerry soon became interested in acting and, after a few years of working as an actor in Canada, he came to Los Angeles in search of fame and fortune. It was there that he got his big break playing the role of Eli in Darcy’s Wild Life. Kerry is an expert skateboarder and snowboarder, and has recently started surfing. He also enjoys classic rock and hockey. An avid reader, Kerry is a big fan of The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Melanie Leishman: "Kathi Giraldi"
Melanie Leishman has just wrapped her second season as "Kathi Giraldi" on NBC/ Discovery Kids’ Darcy’s Wild Life. Performing since she was 8 years old, Melanie has acted in over 15 plays and musicals, starring in lead roles such as "Annie" in Annie and "Madame Thenardier" in Les Miserables. Currently at Earl Haig Secondary School in the Claude Watson Arts Program as a drama major, she is involved in both the drama and dance programs. She will be seen acting in The Breakfast Club and An Impartial Interest in the One Act Play Festival at her school next year and has secured a spot in the Paprika Festival in early 2006 at the Tarragon Theatre. Melanie has been singing, dancing (pointe, ballet, jazz and hip-hop) for eight years and enjoys writing. She plans to study in New York upon graduation from high school.

Andrew Chalmers: "Jack Adams"
At the ripe old age of 12, this gifted young actor has appeared in four feature films. In addition he has many television appearances, theatrical roles and commercials to his credit. He appeared in the film A Home at the End of the World , in the role of young "Bobby Morrow," who was played as an adult by Colin Farrell. His other film credits include Godsend (starring Robert DeNiro, Greg Kinnear and Rebecca Romijn-Stamos) and independent features Siblings and Pigeon. Andrew has also appeared in Comfort & Joy and a Lifetime "Movie of the Week." In addition, he recently finished filming an upcoming CBS "Movie of the Week," Say When. Andrew also lent his voice to the new animated series Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs.

Demetrius Joyette: "Colt Brewster"

At age 8, Demetrius entered the professional world of acting. After securing several commercial jobs, he landed a series regular role on the long-running show DOC, alongside Billy Ray Cyrus. He received two Young Artist nominations in L.A. for his role as Justin on the series. From there he has worked continuously on feature films, including The Pacifier with Vin Diesel, Owning Mahoney and Blizzard. His TV credits include Kojak, Wonderfalls, Power Strikers and the pilot 2 Kings. When not acting, Demetrius is active in karate and tae kwon do. He is also an avid guitarist.

Born in Toronto, 12-year-old Kayla began acting at the age of 6. Her film and television credits include lead and guest appearances in Charms for the Easy Life, Ace Lightning, Stolen Miracle, Enslavement, Map of the World and Santa Who? An accomplished singer, Kayla has appeared in such musical theater productions as The Music Man, Mamma Mia and Shrek. Between professional engagements, Kayla enjoys tap dancing, swimming and computers. She is thrilled to be playing the role of Chloe in Darcy’s Wild Life.
