Choosing, printing, and coloring pictures allows for creative
expression; the exploration of character; story and feelings; the
development of fine motor skills; and the sharing of one's artistic
expressions with others.

Problem Solving/Asking For Help
Paz encourages creative choices but also suggests asking a grownup for
help if needed. This reminds preschoolers that there is more than one
possible solution to a problem and sometimes the solution requires
asking for help from someone else.
