What career does a girl who loves carpentry AND acting choose? Ginene Licata has landed her dream job on Trading Spaces Boys vs. Girls, being able to improve kids' rooms with her carpentry skills while still being in front of the camera to strut her stuff!

Born and raised in New Jersey, Ginene spent her childhood helping her father around the house with home improvement projects AND performing in community and school theatre productions. She holds a degree in technical theatre and acting from DeSales University in Pennsylvania.

After college, Ginene held various jobs from performing for dinner theatres to appearing on TV, but she missed using power tools and getting her hands dirty to build sets and do home improvement projects. She worked as a carpenter for some local theatres and then moved on to work for Busch Gardens Williamsburg in various entertainment production positions until her dream job came along. Ginene loves to watch kids' amazement at the new-found skills they develop on Trading Spaces: Boys vs. Girls.
