Make Your Own Stained Glass Art!



Materials:

1 or more pieces of Plexiglas, cut to the size you want.
Stained-glass paint or stained-glass markers from a local craft store.
Paintbrushes (if you will be using paint)
Newspapers or drop cloth


Step by Step

Step 1

Discuss with your parents where and how you would like to hang your art. If needed, have your parents drill holes in the Plexiglas so you can hang the finished piece. Prepare your workspace with old newspapers or a drop cloth. 		  Step 1
Step 2

With the stained-glass paint or markers outline the pattern or scene you want to create. (You could use a stencil or favorite picture for inspiration.) If you have time, it would be a good idea to let the outline dry before you paint in the rest of the scene. 		  Step 2
Step 3

Begin to fill in the outline with colors of your choosing. 		  Step 3
Step 4

Let your piece dry, and when it's ready, hang it up and enjoy! 		  Step 4
