Make Your Own Suitcase Storage

Materials:
Old suitcases
Roll of contact paper (any pattern of your choosing)
Ruler or measuring tape
Scissors
Pen or pencil
Piece of paper

Step by Step

Step 1
Carefully measure the inside of each suitcase. You will need to know the height and width of the bottom and all four sides. Write the dimensions down on your piece of paper so you don't forget.

Step 2
Don't put that measuring tape down just yet, because now you need to measure and mark your contact paper. Mark your measurements on the back of the contact paper so they won't show later on. Carefully cut along the markings.

Step 3
Double-check to make sure the piece you are about to stick on has been measured correctly. If not, make adjustments.

Step 4
Carefully remove the contact paper from its paper backing to expose the sticky side.

Step 5
Now lay the contact paper on the bottom or sides of the suitcase. This can be very tricky, so take your time. Begin on one side, then smooth evenly to the opposite side.

Step 6
Stack them up and you've got storage. Open them and you have display boxes.
