Make a Wall Painting

Materials:

Chalk
Paint
Paintbrushes
Dropcloth or plastic

Step by Step

Step 1
Ask your parents for permission before you start this project. If your parents don't like this idea, talk about some alternatives, like painting on butcher paper or a large sheet of contruction paper. You can then tack this up on the wall instead.

Step 2
Choose what design you are going to paint. Use chalk to create the outline; this way if you don't like it you can wipe it off.

Step 3
Once you like what you see, and have permission from your parents, it's time to start painting. Lay down your dropcloth or plastic so you don't get paint on the floor! Tracing the outline of your chalking might be the best place to start.

Step 4
Let dry and enjoy your art!
