Band Posters

Materials:

Rubber stamps, paper cutouts of letters, vinyl letters (all available at craft stores)
Or make your own layouts from old magazines and newspapers
Photos of bands you like or even of you and your friends dressed up as rock stars
Markers, paint, glue and any other supplies you want to use
Construction paper or poster board

Step by Step

Step 1

Get your information together; pick a band name, concert date, concert hall — you could even design a band logo. Or, if you like movies better, you can make a poster of your favorite film (or TV show).
  Step 1
Step 2

Decide on the layout and start decorating your poster. Don't be afraid to use different materials and colors together.

Step 3

For an authentic "street poster" look, take them down to a copy shop and fire off a few copies. And, if you'd like a really authentic urban look, use a spray adhesive to collage them onto a piece of plywood. (Be sure to get your parent or guardian's permission first.)
