Make a Twig Mirror

Materials:

- Twigs or small sticks — you can gather them from your yard, or you can buy artificial twigs from a craft store
- A small mirror or picture frame
- Glue gun or glue — it's best to use glue that will dry clear

Step by Step

Step 1
Decide how you want to lay out your design. You could line the twigs up side by side, as dense and as thick as you like, or you could layer the twigs. Other ideas would be to add dried or artificial leaves or flowers, create fun patterns, or even to spell out your name in twigs.

Step 2
Glue everything to the frame, and then wait a few hours to make sure the glue is dry (overnight is best).

Step 3
Ask a parent to help you hang the mirror on the wall and enjoy. (This would be a very nice present for a birthday or holiday.)
