Business Cards

Watch the craft video! Click here.

If you have a business, then you'll need some unique business cards to give to clients. You can make your own!

Materials:

Scissors
Glue
Ruler
Construction paper or colored paper
Markers and/or crayons

Optional:
Letter and number stencil
Rub-on letters and numbers
Customized rubber stamp

Step by Step

  Materials
Step 1

Discuss with your parents what information should go on your business cards. For example, what contact information should be on the card? Should you mention the fee that you usually charge? Now, start cutting your paper into 3-inch by 4-inch rectangles. Use your ruler and a pencil to mark the whole sheet of paper with 3x4 rectangles; then cut them out. This method makes the cutting process go quickly.
  Step 1
Step 2

Once you have a good amount of rectangles to work with, write or stencil the information you and your parents agreed on so that it is centered on the card.
  Step 2
Step 3

Now, the fun part begins: the decoration! Are you a dog-walker? Then maybe you need to cut out some pictures of dogs from some old magazines, or you could draw a dog on the card with crayons or markers. Get creative! Once you are done, you'll have memorable business cards to distribute to friends and potential clients.
