Cut out a strip of card stock long enough to go around the hamster wheel with a small overlap. Next, cut the width so that it fits just inside the bars of the wheel neatly.

Draw pictures and designs on the card stock.

Cut and adhere a long strip of adhesive plastic onto both sides of the card to make it more waterproof. Place the waterproof cover on the outside of the wheel, keeping it as tight and close to the bars as possible. Stick it together with tape.

Put your new covered hamster wheel in the cage and let your furry friend go for a spin!
