Hat Making
 

You will need to work on this craft with an adult. Never handle a hot glue gun without adult supervision.



Materials
Buckram hat form or straw hat
Spray paint
Ribbons, bows and feathers
Veil netting
Hot glue gun
Scissors



Step by Step

Step 1

Spray-paint your hat form in the desired color. Let paint dry.

   Step 1
Step 2

Trace a line of hot glue around the inner brim of the hat.

   Step 2
Step 3

Cut the ribbon and wrap it around the hot glue, then apply feathers, bows or another decoration to achieve desired effect.

   Step 3
Step 4

Cut veil netting and glue to the underside of front outer brim. Let glue dry before wearing hat.
